Today is my birthday...

Well, another year has passed and it is my birthday once again. I am making a birthday post, because it is the best birthday yet! My love Ray is with me, and he has went out of his way to make this birthday so special for me. He has touched my heart yet again:)
I had to work today, but he cleaned the house for me, made me some blueberry birthday cupcakes with frosting, and wrote me a beautiful song and sang it to me! He has a wonderful voice, and it deeply touched me. My Ray is such a romantic:)
I would rather have things given to me that come from the heart than the most expensive store-bought item. To me, that means more than anything. So, what Ray did for me today was the best birthday present I could ever wish for, and I just had to write it down in my journal. He loves me so much, and I am so lucky and so thankful to have him in my life.
Up until now, my past relationships have not been the best. I could not trust the men in my life, and they really hurt me deeply. When I got divorced this last time, I truly did not want to get into another relationship, and told myself that was it! No more for me. Then I met Ray. It was totally unexpected, and I was not looking. We fell in love, and I am thankful we did!
So for those of you out there that have "given up" on finding true love, take it from me: there is someone out there for you! Never give up! You CAN find that special person, when you least expect it!!

Its not much but I am happy you like it. I think it goes perfect with the song Ray wrote for you. We love you both
